Every 24 hours, we check Apple and Samsung for additions to our phone, tablet and audio collections. Exact prices and configurations can appear automatically. Ambiguous listings wait for review.
What makes it onto the atlas?
We require an official source, an exact SKU, a full price, a matching currency and an identifiable configuration. Phone prices must be for unlocked devices. Starting prices, trade-in credits and expired offers do not qualify.
New-device discovery starts with the US stores. Existing listings across 47 markets are rechecked too. Known iPhone families are checked across all 40 Apple markets; regional Samsung phone sources are checked where supported. Regional coverage grows only when a matching price has been verified. We sample up to eight variant links per product family per source; this is a curated catalogue, not every store SKU.
Recently added means newly included in Phone Price Map. It does not claim that a device was just released. Manufacturer announcements help discovery but are never used as price evidence.
The cloud check is scheduled daily at 02:17 UTC (07:47 IST), with no connected computer required. Scheduling can be delayed. Verified results appear after the updated catalogue is published; a failed update preserves the previous dated catalogue. Check the dates above before relying on freshness.
